We had high expectations for Piwnica Świdnicka given its reputation and the beautiful historic setting, but unfortunately the experience was mixed. We had made a reservation online; however, when we arrived, our name wasn’t on the list. That said, the staff did accommodate us after we showed the confirmation email, which we appreciated. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming and explained it was her first day. While she initially brought a dirty plate with our starters, she noticed immediately and said she would replace it. Unfortunately, she never returned with the clean plate, seemingly having been sidetracked by other tasks. The biggest issue of the evening was the wait time. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes from being seated for our mains to arrive, which felt excessive, especially as our starter was simply a plate of dried meats.
