We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this historic restaurant. Server was great. We shared the cold cuts for starters and I had the goose pierogi for main. Recommended this place to a couple of Americans we chatted to.

Service was very poor, were seated for over 20 mins before anybody took our order. My partner's drink was brought not long after, along with a wine glass for my wine. It was another 10 mins and a request to a different server before the wine arrived! Over half an hour for a drink was atrocious and we had started the timer twice as to when we were going to walk out. Our original server was busy telling the next table his life story but fortunately another server noticed how long we had been waiting, apologised for the wait and rescued the rest of the evening. The food, when it eventually arrived, almost 50 mins for our starter, was really nice. We weren't the only couple left waiting but they complained quicker than us and were soon served. I'll put the poor experience down to one bad apple of a server and hopeit wasn't the norm.
