Piwna 47 was the best restaurant of our weekend in Gdansk. The food was lovely, and the waiters were very helpful. Reccomend for everyone. Book before they get the michelin stars!! Also worth it after they get michelin stars but before is better for the wallet (supply and demand).

Ich kann nur sagen: ich habe lange nicht mehr so lecker gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und diskret und das Ambiente war auch sehr angenehm. Dieses Restaurant muss man mal ausprobieren!

Od dłuższego czasu jesteśmy fanami Restauracji Piwna 47. Kibicujemy działaniom Szefa Alana Ławrynowicza i lubimy odkrywać Jego nowe pomysły. Tym razem też nie byliśmy zawiedzeni, pyszne śledź i jesiotr na przystawkę, świetny kurczak z kurkami w sosie pomarańczowym, czy pstrąg z Zielnicy jako dania główne. Niestety, nie wszystko było tak idealne - rozczarował smak kawy podanej do deseru :-( Czyżby był to wynik "zagospodarowania" ziaren kawy, na których podawany jest deser Petit Four? Naszym zdaniem nie był to zbyt fortunny pomysł.

After my last visit at Piwna47 I came to a conclusion that it should change its name to something that would suggest it’s a bit more posh than a “food and wine bar”. I visited this place in 2017, 2023 and 2025 and during my last visit I had an impression it’s some sort of gourmet restaurant with tiny portions and quite formal atmosphere. Back in 2017 and 2021 the food was reasonably priced, well presented, portions were good and the atmosphere was friendly and quite casual. Based on my previous experiences, I brought my two small children and a friend with a couple teenage children for a meal in August 2025. There was hardly anything on the menu under 60zł a plate. No children menu available, not to mention crayons or colouring books. A few people in our group ordered chicken on the bone. The meat was pink on the bone and my friend raised some concerns. The waitress wouldn’t acknowledge

Our server was very attentive, the food was delicious and creative, and I will dream of your strawberry soup for some time. Thank you for the delicious meal and we look forward to returning on our next trip to Gdansk. Sorry for setting my menu on fire. ;)

Vi bestilte en flaske Prosecco til at starte på samt en flaske rødvin samt hovedretter. Vi fik proseccoen straks og efter ca 20 minutter blev hovedretterne serveret, men ingen rødvin. Vi tilkaldte tjeneren for at få rødvinen - hun mente vi skulle drikke vores Prosecco færdig først, men kom dog med glas og vin. Sidst jeg besøgt stedet, fik jeg maden præsenteret, men denne gang blev den blot stillet på bordet uden forklaring. Maden smagte dejligt!!! Måske var det en ny tjener...

Booked a table for 7pm, Arrived on time, were shown upstairs, and told to pick one of two tables tightly packed either side with other diners. After 10 mins or more, no menus or any other service had been offered despite staff running around the restaurant. My colleague asked for menus and was given one for himself…I was offered no menu. After another 5-10 mins with no menu, no service being offered, we decided to leave and went around the corner to Niesztuka, which was in a different league. Rubbish experience and really no excuse if trading on a reputation of exceptional service and Michelin guide standards.

Wszystko w porządku, miła obsługa, choć zabrakło trochę opowiedzenia co jest podane na talerzu, jakie dodatki, z czego, zabrakło polecenia co zjeść, choć przy innych stolikach było. Generalnie na plus, jedzenie smaczne, tatar super, schabowy OK, fondant piernikowy super. W momencie gdy zrobiło się dużo gości, czekaliśmy trochę dłużej, w porządku, ale miło by było dać znać, że za chwilę podejdę.
Wszystko w porządku, miła obsługa, choć zabrakło trochę opowiedzenia co jest podane na talerzu, jakie dodatki, z czego, zabrakło polecenia co zjeść, choć przy innych stolikach było. Generalnie na plus, jedzenie smaczne, tatar super, schabowy OK, fondant piernikowy super. W momencie gdy zrobiło się dużo gości, czekaliśmy trochę dłużej, w porządku, ale miło by było dać znać, że za chwilę podejdę.

Wszystko, co zamówiłem, było smaczne i świeże. Dania były pięknie podane, a każdy kęs sprawiał prawdziwą przyjemność. The location and the table wed got was very good. The food was good and nice presented. But the staff seemes not aware of how you should follow up the table. It was stuff from the starters when we left after the meal. They also did not was polite enough and have a tendency to give short negative answers on some of our requests. I do not think we are going beck, the price level is too high for this poor level of service.

For me the food was not that special, it was good and the service in the restaurant was great. But with the Michelin recommendation I expected a bit more. It didn't give me enough to want to visit again.

Restauracja piwna 47 zdecydowanie zasługuje na najlepsze słowa, atmosfera była wyjątkowa! Wykwintne jedzenie zachwyciło nas doskonałym smakiem i pięknym podaniem – każde danie było małym dziełem sztuki. Widać, że kuchnia bazuje na najwyższej jakości składnikach i pasji szefa kuchni. Romantyczny wystrój sali idealnie dopełnił nastrój wieczoru – subtelne światło, eleganckie dekoracje i spokojna muzyka tworzyły ciepłą, niemal domową atmosferę, w której można było się w pełni zrelaksować. Szczególne podziękowania należą się Pani kelnerce, która obsługiwała nas z ogromnym wdziękiem i klasą. Was really looking forward to this, but sadly it was a dissapointment. The food (especially the starters) was great but the service was unfortunatley really bad. The waiter who welcomed us delivered us the menus but don’t wanted to look at us (deliberatly looked away and did not want to interact with us). After 20 mins with no service i had to ask another waiter to order som drinks (nothing has been offered us yet after almost 30 min at the table). Then got a new waiter and was able to to order drinks and food. We had to «distrurb» (that was our feeling) everytime we wanted some drinks (no one came to the table to ask us). We ordered prosecco for our starter, but that arrived 15 min after we got the starters. We ordered red wine for our main, got it right before we finished our main. All in all - compliments to the kitchen, but service was WELL belle par.

The overall impression is good. there were very tasty soups. They alone are worth returning to this restaurant. delicious duck. but it seemed to us that the duck was not seasoned at all. Very little pumpkin puree on the plate. But these were all small things. The most unpleasant thing was the service of the young waiter. Emotions were clearly visible on his face and when he was unhappy it was easy to see. She never asked if everything was okay or if we liked food. Just indifference. And when we left, although we left a tip, which we later regretted, he didn’t even look in our direction as we passed by, and didn’t say goodbye. It's amazing how good food can be ruined by bad service
