Różnorodność pierogów przyprawia o zawrót głowy: pierogi tradycyjne (Lepiochy - z wody brane), z pieca (Piecuchy), smażone (Czeburki Kresowe), podpiekane, na słodko, wegetariańskie, z mięsem, z okrasą, skwarkami... Aż trudno się oprzeć, by nie spróbować tych pyszności. A to nie koniec nieskończonych smakołyków – zupy, rogaliki, placki, sałatki, desery, ciasta, wypieki, różności - a wszystko to oparte na tradycyjnych przepisach babcinych, kresowych, przez pokolenia doskonalonych.
Jednym z powodów niepowtarzalnego smaku naszej kuchni jest „Babciny Certyfikat” – nadany przez autentyczne babcie, które same pomagają nam w przygotowaniu większości wypieków i pierogów oraz które pilnują przestrzegania tradycyjnych przepisów.
Pierogi są robione na miejscu, na świeżo, czyli jeśli gość zamawia danie, to ciasto jest wałkowane, nakładany jest farsz i pierogi przygotowywane są w piecu, by za chwilę pojawić się jako pachnące danie na talerzu – to stanowi o nieprzeciętnym oraz domowym smaku kuchni Pierogarni Stary Młyn.

Bardzo miła obsługa i duży wybór pierogów. Pierogi smaczne, jednak w farszu z kaczki, jabłek i porzeczki próżno było szukać owoców a mięso zmielone było na papkę. Zupy bardzo dobre i sycące.

To była moja trzecia wizyta w Pierogarni. Po pierwszych dwóch byłam zachwycona. Niestety tym razem zawiodłam się. Zaczęło się od bardzo długiego czasu oczekiwania. W międzyczasie mieliśmy nieprzyjemność obserwacji przez okno gołębi posilających się na nieuprzątniętym stoliku na zewnątrz, który bardzo długo nie został uprzątnięty (było to dość obrzydliwe). Pierogi były takie sobie: farsz suchy i zupełnie inny (gorszy) w smaku niż podczas poprzednich wizyt. Miałam też wrażenie, że było go o wiele mniej. Ciasto było niedopieczone. Rozumiem, że była sobota i bardzo dużo gości, ale nie jestem przekonana, czy jest to wystarczające usprawiedliwienie. Gdybym nie nie była w Pierogarni wcześniej, uznałabym, że jest ona przereklamowana. Moja ogólna ocena: 3 na 5.
