Różnorodność pierogów przyprawia o zawrót głowy: pierogi tradycyjne (Lepiochy - z wody brane), z pieca (Piecuchy), smażone (Czeburki Kresowe), podpiekane, na słodko, wegetariańskie, z mięsem, z okrasą, skwarkami... Pierogi są robione na miejscu, na świeżo, czyli jeśli gość zamawia danie, to ciasto jest wałkowane, nakładany jest farsz i pierogi przygotowywane są w piecu, by za chwilę pojawić się jako pachnące danie na talerzu – to stanowi o nieprzeciętnym oraz domowym smaku kuchni Pierogarni Stary Młyn.

Jestem zawiedziona, pierogi piecuchy nie zachwycily, slaby farsz, dużo ciasta, bez dodatków, za sos dodatkowa opłata. W lokalu zimno, drewniane krzesła bez poduszek, a w przypadku miejsca na lawie nawet bez oparcia - na dluższą posiadówkę ciężko wysiedzieć.
