About us
A w PIWNICY MEKSYKAŃSKIEJ, można poczytać gazetę, napić się dobrej espresso lub piwa
leżakowanego w beczkach; można też spróbować pysznego beczkowego wina.
Egzotyczna tequila, czy Mezcal z robalem (larwą ćmy nocnej, żerującej na agawie błękitnej,
z której produkuje się Mezcal i Tequilę) umili wieczór, a prawdziwa liściasta herbata z
imbryka, wzbogaci businessowe spotkanie lub niebanalną randkę.
Już 7 lat jesteśmy na rynku lokalnej warszawskiej gastronomii.
Pyszne jedzenie, przyprawione jak przez mamacitas, przeniesie nas do gorącego Meksyku.
Wnętrze zaprojektowane przez studio projektowe ArtArmando, oddaje w subtelny sposób
klimat prawdziwej bodega w Veracruz czy Mexico City. Jeżeli to za mało, można sięgnąć po
menu, a wtedy… zaczyna się prawdziwa podróż!

Kolory Meksyku na talerzu! Egzotyczne przyprawy i obce w polskiej kuchni papryczki
Jalapeńos, Chipotles, Habaneros i wiele innych. Królowa meksykańskich potraw: czerwona
fasola. Tańcząca i skwiercząca Fajitas na żarzącym się półmisku.
A to wszystko zakropione „ostrą” tequilą. Tak można krótko scharakteryzować kuchnię
meksykańską. W naszej Piwnicy, w dużym stopniu, używamy produktów oryginalnych,
sprowadzanych bezpośrednio z Meksyku.
Nasi kucharze zostali przeszkoleni przez mistrzów kuchni z Meksyku: Mario Cordova i jego
brata Ricardo Cordova. To oni zadbali o to, abyśmy gotowali „jak u mamy”, czyli
meksykańskiej mamacitas . Nasza kuchnia jest kuchnią rdzenną meksykańską, taką jaką
spotykamy na meksykańskich bazarach w Veracruz lub w meksykańskim domu.
Na jedzenie trzeba dłużej poczekać, bo jest przyrządzane osobno, pod każde zamówienie
ze świeżych produktów, zakrapianych oryginalnymi, meksykańskimi dodatkami.
Dla firm oferujemy kameralną salę VIP na małe szkolenia i uczty, które możemy połączyć z
meksykańską muzyką na żywo.
Dopełnieniem biesiady, może być unikalne wino z beczek: białe, czerwone oraz słynne
oryginalne Prosecco z beczki, czyli Glera!

Jedzenie smaczne i ostrzejsze, niż zimą, co cieszy. Niestety czas oczekiwania na zamówienie karygodny (~45 min), choć restauracja nie była pełna. Dodatkowo napoje dostaliśmy chyba po 25 minutach, a byliśmy z dziećmi. Mega plus za smak, duży minus za czas oczekiwania. jeśli ktoś marzy o szybkim posiłku, raczej nie zdąży na spotkanie ;)
