My sister and cousin were visiting me in Poland, so we booked this restaurant for dinner. When we arrived, the server told us our friends were already sitting outside. However, my sister and her husband were still on their way. We checked and found two Black women who were not part of our group. I don’t want to assume the server’s intention, but I found the assumption very uncomfortable and problematic. The service was also extremely poor. We waited almost 30 minutes for menus, then even longer for drinks. The server didn’t write down our order, which resulted in several incorrect dishes. My sister’s prosecco was also poured into a decanter, which was very unusual. Food was honestly some of the worst I’ve had in Katowice. I’ve lived in Katowice for four years and eat out regularly, so I was genuinely shocked by this experience. I honestly don’t understand why it has 4.7 rating.
