The food was delicious and honestly a 5/5 but the service was extremely poor - we waited over 40 mins for our main (and first dish) and then 20 mins for the waiter to pay. We also waited to be seated for more than 10 minutes. We spent the majority of our time at Magari waiting. The majority of tables around our table were not clean, although the interior of the restaurant was lovely. The waiters who served us were cold and not friendly. As someone who appreciates people working in the service industry greatly and who always tips, I did not want to pay service (that was included in our bill) for my time at Magari. I did pay service as I wanted to leave asap. I will not be visiting again - Magari’s chef is fantastic however if you want to pose as a luxury restaurant, please provide a service equivalent of what you are presenting to your customers from the outside.
